Maakum Academy (“we”, “us”) operates maakumacademy.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
When you submit our enrollment or contact form, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share about your language level, preferred times, or questions. For students under 13, we also collect a parent or guardian name, phone number and email address.
If you join our mailing list, we store your name and email address.
We use this information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a placement assessment, register you for a course, and contact you about your classes. If you have joined our mailing list, we may also send you occasional news about courses and term dates.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Form submissions are stored on our website, which is hosted by Hostinger, and are sent to our email address at info@maakumacademy.com. If you join our mailing list, your name and email are also stored with our email service provider.
We keep enquiry and enrollment information for as long as needed to provide our courses and to keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Our website uses cookies necessary for it to function, and to remember your language preference. We use Google Search Console to understand how people find our site in search results; this does not identify you personally.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you receive our emails, every message includes an unsubscribe link.
We enroll students of all ages. Where a student is under 13, we ask for a parent or guardian contact and communicate with them rather than the child.
For any question about this policy, or to ask about the information we hold, contact us at info@maakumacademy.com or call +968 9891 6065.
